With the summer festivals coming to a close this year, it’s time to gear up for country music festivals in 2018! There’s plenty to get excited about and tickets are already on sale for some of them. If you enjoy three days of live music from your favorite country stars, be sure to check out this list of upcoming events!
CMA Music Festival: June 7-10
The 2018 CMA Music Festival is gearing up for its 47th annual show! Held in Nashville, some of the nation’s biggest country music stars play in front of their fans for three nights. If you want a simple and affordable chance to listen to your favorite country songs live, this is it! It will be held from June 7 to June 10 next year in 2018.
The lineup has not yet been released, but artists from past years include Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Brett Eldredge, Kane Brown, Lauren Alaina, Eli Young Band and more. Tickets are on sale now! Here are some highlights from last year:
Southern Ground Music & Food Festival: May 2018
This country music festival is hosted by Zac Brown Band in Charleston, SC. Unfortunately, they had to cancel last year’s festival to focus on their new album “Welcome Home,” so they rescheduled it for May 2018. If you enjoy food festivals and country music, you should definitely check out this one! Zac Brown Band and other artists play lots of live music while fans enjoy the music and the food. Last year’s featured artists also included Kacey Musgraves and Bruce Hornsby.
Tree Town Music Festival: May 24 to 27
The Tree Town Music Festival 2018 is one of the Midwest’s major country music festivals and will feature Keith Urban! Though the rest of the lineup has yet to be announced, it will be a festival to remember! On Memorial Weekend, this country music festival is held in Forest City, IA. Fans can camp out for a fun-filled four days full of music and activities.
Country Summer: June 15-17
Country Summer is Northern California’s biggest country music festival! Since its first year in 2014, Country Summer continues to book big name country stars to perform at this three-day music fest. Performances from the artists is the main attraction, but they have more than music. There are also Western-themed attractions, great food, beer, wine and spirits for every taste! Tickets are on sale now, starting at $209.
Windy City Smokeout: July 13-15
Held in downtown Chicago, this country music festival is also known for its massive barbecue selection from some of the best pit masters around! Fans can indulge in great food while listening to some of country music’s hottest artists. You won’t want to miss this windy city attraction next summer, especially if you live in the Midwest!

Night in the Country: July 26-28
Nevada’s biggest country music festival returns for another jam-packed weekend with some of the biggest country music artists! Take a break from the bright city lights and head out to the farm town of Yerington, NV. It’s the perfect place for camping, live music and great times. The lineup has not been announced yet, but last year’s lineup included Justin Moore, Drake White, Thomas Rhett, LANCO and more!
WE Fest: August 2-4
WE Fest celebrated its 35th anniversary last year and is now one of the leading country music festivals in the nation! It has been nominated twice for Country Music Association’s Best Special Event award. This outstanding event can host a massive amount of people, which makes for an unforgettable weekend full of country music and camping. Held in SOMETHING, this fully-developed concert venue has a permanent stage and campgrounds in the meadows nearby, and it is located on the shores of Lake Sallie.
The Tortuga Music Festival is held in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and hosts some of the biggest country music names right on the beach! Past acts include Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapleton and Luke Bryan. Though the dates and lineup have not been announced, this music festival is sure to be full of good music and even better memories.
This music festival works with the Rock The Ocean Foundation to help raise awareness about issues affecting the world’s oceans and make efforts to support research, education and ocean conservation initiatives. A portion of ticket sales and other donations help give back to the ocean community through the Tortuga Music Festival.
